Nets | Rules For Usage During Social Distancing due to COVID-19

Please ensure you comply with the following rules at all times:
  1. nets are only available to club members and can only be used after pre-booking using neccnets@gmail.com.  An administrator will record the booking and confirmation will be given by return email and can be viewed on the calendar below.
  • When requesting a net session please include Date, Start time, and Full names of all attendees.  Please be aware that only names recorded on the booking will be allowed access to the net.
  1. Booking slots will be made available by the club representative in advance only.  Available times to be confirmed here once agreed.
  2. Each session will be for 45 minutes duration with 15 breaks to allow space between bookings. Please ensure you leave the net promptly at the end of your session.
  3. Arrive suitably dressed as no changing facilities will be available.
  4. Participants are required to check for symptoms of COVID-19 and in turn to advise individuals when booking that, in line with current Government guidance, if they are symptomatic, living in a household with a possible COVID-19 infection or if they are classified as extremely vulnerable on health group they should remain at home and follow Government guidance.
  5. A representative of the club (defined as committee key holders and club head coach only) will be on site during the hours that the outdoor facilities are open for use.  Please ensure you adhere to these rules otherwise bookings can be cancelled or terminated early.
  6. A lock will be placed on the nets when they are not open (including where a club does not wish to or is not ready to reopen) to deter use by general public.
  7. Updated signage reminding participants of the rules relating to social distancing will be visible at the access point.
  8. You can exercise with members of your household (max 6 for net safety) or with one other person from outside your household while keeping two metres apart at all times. You must only exercise in groups of no more than two people unless you are exercising exclusively with members of your household.
  9. Social distancing of at least two metres must be maintained at all times (unless all participants are members of the same household).
  10. Due to current ECB guidelines we are unable to provide one to one coaching of juniors.  This will be reviewed periodically.
  11. Only one net will be made available for use
  12. Clubhouses will not be open so there is no access to toilets
  13. Limited hand washing facilities are available (one external tap) so we request all participants bring your own hand sanitiser.
  14. Participants will only use their own equipment
  15. No saliva or sweat should come into contact with the ball at any time.
  16. During use the access door will remain open to avoid cross contamination
  17. Wash hands at home before and after using the outdoor facilities.
  18. Currently the bowling machine is not available for use, but this will be reviewed once a cleaning process is defined.
