I hope this finds you all well. Though the summer seems a bit of a way away our cricket club does not go into complete hibernation! A little update from me.....
Firstly our Dinner and Dance is this Saturday. We have 80 places confirmed (a new modern era record!) and I'm not surprised as we are thriving as a club in many areas and we have much to celebrate. If you have not heard from Kathryn (when you think you should have) or you have not made contact with her, you are running out of time! Please get in touch by the end of TOMORROW as we must confirm final numbers to Crews Hill GC. You have them but Kathryn's details are [email protected] or 07815 858931 or reply to this mail.
Del Boy and Mandy Macmurdie have kindly volunteered to organise a Christmas Cabaret Night at the club on Saturday 12th December from 19.30 as per the flyer attached. Kate (we all know Kate!) and David thank you for volunteering your night to raise funds for us at North Enfield. Please support the night, Kate and David are the real deal and have a fantastic playlist planned to get you in the Christmas spirit. Tickets will sell fast please contact Del or Mandy to avoid disappointment......
Mandy and Andy Macmurdie are also organising a family NYE party. Tickets are £10 adults and £5 for children. The night will consist of full buffet (yes like my bowling!), films for the children, music and raffle. Please contact Andy or Mandy to confirm attendance. Please do it ASAP so we can plan and not have to chase.
Thanks to all who attended our bonfire / Halloween Night. The guys that were constructed were spectacular and I know everyone enjoyed themselves.
One last thing - our 2016 AGM date is set for the Sunday 7th February 2016, starting at 19.30. Please get it in the diary. I urge all club members to attend.....
I say it in every mail because it is true; NECC is as much your club as it is mine and all of us on Management. If you have any ideas, suggestions, observations or thoughts about anything re. North Enfield CC then please let me know.
Many thanks for reading my mails and with very best wishes
James
