I hope this mail finds all members and friends of our club well.
Firstly thanks to all that attended our Dinner & Dance the Friday before last. I personally thought the new venue worked really well and the evening ran smoothly. Well done to all those that won a prize on the night! Thanks especially to Kathryn and Stu for organising the night, Del for lighting and the Cat for comparing so well. Thanks to everyone!
Thanks also for the overwhelming support for our NYE party. We are sold out with a really good balance of adults and children. We are running a special prize raffle that we will be drawing on the night. All proceeds will be going towards new ground equipment for all our use, from the youngest junior to the most established senior member. Please contact Andy Mac or reply to this email for books of tickets to sell to family and friends.
As mentioned in previous mails we have a table booked at Enfield Ignatians RFC Christmas President's Lunch on Saturday 9th December. I can say with certainty that is is a brilliant afternoon and our friends at the club look after us really well. Plan is to meet for a few beers, have a full roast dinner, cheese & biscuits and some port. After food the 1st XV will be in action and we will join them for some post match refreshments. Please let me know if you want to join our club table. So far I have firm confirmations from the President and Darren Webster; come on please come a join us if you can! Please reply to me ASAP.
We are desperate for bar staff volunteers on 9th and 15th December. No experience is required and any help would be appreciated. As I have said many times before we can not survive by just playing cricket. Hires are critical to our survival. Please contact Andy Mac, Del or myself if you can spare a couple of hours. Thank you!
Finally Middlesex CCC have released their winter edition their the club magazine. Here is a link, please have a read

I say it in every mail because it is true; NECC is as much your club as it is mine and all of us on Management. If you have any ideas, suggestions, observations or thoughts about anything re. our club then please let me know.
Many thanks for reading my mails and with very best wishes
James
