As this in my first mail for 2013, I want to take this opportunity to sincerely wish each and every member and friend of North Enfield Cricket Club and Happy New Year. I thought that it was also time to update one and all on what is happening at Strayfield Road.
Well firstly a huge thank you to Mandy and Andy MacMurdie for organising a very successful and enjoyable family New Years Eve Party. Special thanks also to Mark Ricketts and helpers for manning the bar and assisting the smooth running of the night. Thanks also to all those who supported the event. An event such as this is vital for our club, so simply thanks to all.
Also thanks to Jane Crick for holding an open evening at her shop 'Portobello' in Potters Bar, just before Christmas. All proceeds went to the club, so thanks Jane and Graham!
